Just the place of the photo, in Via di Tor Pagnotta (all 'angle with the Laurentina), behind / inside the grass there is an illegal gypsy camp that no one (or so it seems) have noticed.
Their occupants during the day, grazing in the area attracted by the eco-recycling station in search of materials for their buildings. There are badly dressed children playing among the garbage and dirt even closer to homes across the district. Sometimes nomads roam the parking lot of the Panorama supermarket nearby to beg. In the evening, lighting small fires and it's like a camping tent well hidden by the green branches. We hope that at least the cold weather looming discourage their activities and spur them to go elsewhere. You do not feel very safe to walk on that sidewalk, especially at night when it is dark.
report the incident, hoping that those responsible are to make any effort to clean up the city from these makeshift camps.
